As the vibrant hues of fall descend upon us, it's a season that brings with it a sense of change and new beginnings. This year, it's a particularly poignant time for us as we bid a heartfelt farewell to our beloved trivia host, Janelle.

A Stellar Career in Entertainment

Janelle has been a cornerstone of our trivia nights, bringing her infectious energy and passion to Fat Pants Brewing Co. Her impressive background in the performance and entertainment arts has shaped her into the dynamic host we've come to cherish. With a rich history that includes roles as a street theatre performer and MC at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival, an actor at Wehmann Models & Talent Inc., and a performer at HUGE Improv Theater, Janelle has always been a force to be reckoned with. Her versatility has also shone through in roles at The Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Dinner Show and Moore Creative Talent, as well as her time as a senior game associate at GameStop. Her experience as a former bookseller at Barnes & Noble and touring company member at Stevie Ray's Improv Company, alongside her marketing and PR internship at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, rounds out a truly remarkable resume.

Fat Pants Trivia: A Success Story

Under Janelle's leadership, Fat Pants Trivia earned a gold medal in the 2024 MN's Best Competition for Best Trivia/Game Night—a testament to her skill and dedication. Fat Pants Trivia is a beloved event, held almost every Tuesday at Fat Pants Brewing Co. Teams of up to six compete for prizes and bragging rights on the first, second, and last Tuesday of each month. If you haven't yet joined us for trivia, now is the perfect time! Trivia continues every Tuesday night, and we're excited to introduce our new trivia host, Dan Belling, starting in October. Janelle's Next Chapter: A Move to Chicago

Janelle is embarking on a new adventure as she relocates to Chicago during the week of September 23rd. She's moving to further her career in acting and entertainment, pursuing her passion for performance in a new city. From acting and singing to dancing and improv, Janelle is eager to explore new opportunities in the vibrant Chicago scene. While we're sad to see her go, we're also thrilled for her as she takes this exciting step forward.

How to Show Your Support

Janelle's last trivia night with us will be on September 10th at 7 PM at Fat Pants Brewing. We encourage you to join us for a final hurrah and show her how much she's appreciated. If you'd like to celebrate with Janelle before her move, here are a few more opportunities:
